This is some of my inspiration for the People and Places project. First hand research/ Location Drawing is my favourite stage in all projects. I love drawing what I see and express myself through it with my own style without having to worry about communicating and a million other things. My no.1 inspiration is always David Hockney especially his work on interiors and drawing his personal spaces. 3 images before the end is my Illustration from Gail's Artisan's Bakery which was my chosen place to study. Some photos of my many visits to Gails are also on this post. Then there is a photo of the magic sponge I sculpted to make a little print representing this space. And last is a picture from the crit which we had where my peers gave me some useful feedback.
